My name is Dan and I’d like to tell you about my weekend with Silvia!
I had a great experience staying the weekend at Jill and Gayle’s Airstream camper in Travelers Rest! The location is perfect for anyone who wants to take a hiking trip around South Carolina’s Upstate or visit downtown Greenville.

Travelers Rest is a calm, relaxing town just a few minutes away from the Airstream. For anyone who needs a short break from work, this is a great spot to unwind and enjoy the outdoors.

The Airstream is comfortable and well-restored. It feels like you’ve stepped back in time to the 1970s. The deck that Jill and Gayle built, with a portable heater, is good for stargazing.
I stayed with friends at the camper in early October, and the temperature was perfect, especially after a summer along the coast. Sitting outside — chatting and watching the moon rise over a nearby tree line — was a nice start to fall.
The camper is a short drive from hiking destinations like Paris Mountain State Park and the Mountain Bridge Wilderness Area, just along the North Carolina border.
Our group enjoyed a Sunday walk nearby before spending some time in Greenville, exploring Falls Park.
I’d highly recommend the Airstream, which also had a nice lawn and room to play badminton or croquet. It was a beautiful spot in the Upstate and a great place to hang out with friends.
